For total electricity sovereignty!

In 2020, Italy, France, Germany and Austria imported 23,785 GWh of electricity. Due to the poor framework agreement with the EU, it is hardly possible to acquire reliable, early information on power outages (e.g. in the event of environmental disasters), which could lead to Switzerland, including the EU, being left in the dark.
A good example of an environmental disaster would be the floods in Germany in 2021.
The long-term goal of PS is to make Switzerland completely independent of electricity, as this will massively promote the path to consistent neutrality.
Through electricity sovereignty, Switzerland does not have to make any framework agreements with the EU, which means that the reliability of electricity is increased and thus neutrality is also strengthened, as we are not dependent on foreign electricity.
